The Clean Up Crew
The second AV lesson yesterday went, yet again, into camera’s. Luckily this time we wern’t going to do the checklist for the fourteenth time. Instead we explored some advanced settings menu’s and learned about what each setting did. There were three menu’s in total, of which we got to see only two since messing with the third could wreck an entire camera up to the point where it would take about a week to recalibrate. Yea best not to let us touch that.
Today we had another AV lesson, it’s our first lesson on Wednessdays. So after I managed to get my ass out of bed (finally, I had a real really hard time to get up today) I got to school and we were put to work.
Now, before I go on I should probably mention that for the last two days the higher media classes have been hard at work with setting up a party in the cafeteria. The school teachers had a christmas party there and instead of just the stage they had lights and cables running pretty much through the entire cafeteria. To do all this the place was closed for two days in a row (causing extreme crowds at all the other food shacks around the school).
You can probably see where this is going. When we came in this morning it was our task to take everything down again. I make it sound worse then it was though, taking everything down was pretty fun. It was better at least then repeating the same AV lesson day after day and it really promoted the team spirit of the class.
I also shot a quick picture while I was working to show you all how things looked. Unfortunatly, with the moving thing and all I havn’t been able to hook up my own computer yet which means that I will probably post the picture somewhere next week or the week after that. I will post it though, not to worry.
Robin
